1956 SEASON
Keeping in mind…Bears(N), Packers(N), Rams(Y), and 49ers(R) only wore colored jerseys in '56.
Color vs. Color (CVC) was prevalent with even Bears/Packers going navy vs navy - twice.
Still needed for 1956…
9/30 Bears @ BALT – Bears in navy
9/30 PHIL @ LA – LA in yellow
10/6 (N) DET @ BALT
10/6 (N) WASH @ PHIL
10/14 Cards @ WASH
10/21 BALT @ Bears – Bears in navy
10/21 Cards @ PHIL
10/28 DET @ LA – LA in yellow
11/11 DET @ WASH
11/18 CLE @ PHIL
11/25 SF @ PHIL – SF in red
12/2 PHIL @ CLE
12/2 SF @ BALT – SF in red
12/9 BALT @ LA – LA in yellow
12/9 PHIL@ WASH
12/16 PITT @ WASH – I have a picture showing WASH in burgundy but no Steelers are shown
12/16 BALT @ SF – SF in red
For 12/16, PITT and WASH did go CVC in Week 1 so we can’t assume PITT in white.
For all of the other Rams’ home games not listed here, opponents wore colored jerseys.
Both 10/6 games were played on a Saturday Night.
Pants descriptions are important for Philly as I already have shots of them wearing white (2-striped) pants and grey (unstriped) pants. Look for the stripes.
Washington also wore 2 different pants (white and gold) but only with white jerseys.
I know this is a lot but Google News really doesn’t have a regular supply for Philly, Detroit, Chicago, LA, Washington, or Baltimore. Heck, that’s half of the League! To only be missing these 17 games out of the 73 isn’t bad.

12/16 BAL @ SF

1956 Press Photo, San Francisco 49ers vs Baltimore Colts with the original date stamped, Dec 17, 1956, newspaper clipping attached to the back of the photo. The descriptor on the clipping reads: "POWELL SQUARES OFF - The 49ers' Charley Powell squares off with Alan Ameche of the Colts during yesterday's game. Powell was thrown out of the game."

Re: 1956 SEASON
BD,
For the 10/21 Philly game you said "White, 2-stripe."
Does the '2-stripe' refer to the jersey sleeves (b/c they also wore white jerseys with 3 NW stripes) or to the white pants with 2 stripes as opposed to the grey pants with no stripes?

Sorry, should have clarified that; it was the two-stripe jersey sleeves.

Re: 1956 SEASON
Do you happen to remember if it was the grey pants (no stripes) or the white pants (2-stripes)? I'm finding some of both as I go through 1956.
