Vikings pre-season pants color with white jerseys 1962-65

looking at old Mpls Tribunes on microfilm.

the Vikings wore white pants in both 1962 and 63 preseasons with their white jerseys no purple pants.

they wore purple pants with the white jerseys in BOTH 1964 and 65 preseason. FYI they wore this combo in the home preseason games at the Met both 64 and 65 as well as road/neutral games. The purple pants used were the "64" style wth the stipes being white/gold/white. with the northwestern style socks and white belts.

no purple pants in 65 regular season.

Question...

1962 - What socks with the white pants in Preseason? Purple with 3 yellow stripes that they normally wore with the purple jerseys or either of the white sock pairs they had - 3 purple stripes (outlined in yellow) or the purple NW stripes (outlined in yellow)?

1963 - We already have the mono-white Preseason combo in already. (This one had the purple socks with the 3 yellow stripes.)

1964 - We have the white over purple already as they wore that during the regular season.

1965 - Can be added.

Any chance you have some photos to go with these - especially '62 and '65?

1962 was the purple socks with the 3 gold/yellow stripes

it will be a while before i get back over to the microfilm dept, but i could print them off however i think the system they used prints it off black for white and white for black., like an xray or negative, but i will double check what email whould i send them too?
