2022 Redemption Game Logo Competition
Final logo competition of the offseason.
This logo competition will be a little more informal, and I'm hoping it will help get more ideas across, and more people involved.
For starters, you can collaborate on a logo design with one or more other people in this competition, and submit a joint entry. If you collaborate on a logo with someone, you still have the opportunity to submit your own logo. For example, I've already discussed with Curtis that I'd help him out getting his vision across, which is limited by MS Paint. If I help Curtis out, but he submits the logo, then I'd still be able to submit a logo of my own, if I wanted to (I doubt I will this time around though). Curtis could also ask for opinions and advice from others as well, and not just me, if he chose.
I will accept logo submissions (one per person) up through the end of the month.
This is where things will get a little different.
Starting December 1st, when logos are posted, we will not vote right away. The people who have submitted logos will be able to, in the forum, ask for advice and get help on improving their submission up through December 9th. They must have a final logo submission to me by the end of the day December 9th.
Voting will then run from December 10th through the 13th, with the winner being announced Tuesday December 14th.
As with other competitions, the logo must include the following text within the logo itself "2022 GSL Redemption Game". Below the logo, you will need to include the date and location of the game in some way.
You will be choosing the location of the game in the logo submission. The city must conform to Gridiron Bowl stadium standards, and the following cities are NOT able to host the game, for the following reasons:
1) Las Vegas (home of Gridiron Bowl II)
2) Louisville (home of the 2022 GSL All-Star Game)
3) New Orleans (home of Gridiron Bowl I and the 2021 GSL All-Star Game)
4) Phoenix (home of the 2021 Playoff Bowl)
All other cities that meet Gridiron Bowl stadium requirements are eligible to host the game. These requirements include major cities within the US or Canada that have a minimum stadium capacity for professional football of at least 65,000 seats, or currently house an NFL franchise.
This should give participants the chance to submit their work to best fit their vision.
Let me know if anyone has any questions about how this competition will work.

Re: 2022 Redemption Game Logo Competition
I think I'll throw my hat in the ring for this one.
How do we go about asking for feedback during the competition this month? Should I post my logo here? Or do I direct message people? I'm not sure how that's supposed to work.
Thanks.

You can state here that you'd like some feedback, but don't post your logo. You can ask people to direct message you for feedback, or direct message people for feedback.
Once we get to December, then I'll post everyone's logos, and everyone will be able to give feedback on all logos before final submissions are made.
Does that make sense, or seem like it will work?

Re: 2022 Redemption Game Logo Competition
Reminder that this competition is half way through phase 1. I have two submissions so far that are solo submissions (so those individuals would be available to help on others submissions still).
Remember that this competition allows you to work with someone else throughout the process, and once we hit December 1st, you will have a week to ask here publicly for advice, and make improvements to your logo.
Again, let me know if anyone has any questions about how this competition will work.

Reminder that this competition is still ongoing, with phase 1 ending after tomorrow.
I still only have two entries at this point.
