Just a bit off topic

Last month I submitted a design for The 2022 Home Depot "Military Appreication Patch" contest.

This was the submission I designed



I just found out that I was selected as a Finalist, one of 12 designs, out of nearly 250 entries.

The picture reprisents 5 members of the US Armed Forces. A Female Naval Corpsman, A Male US Air Force/Space Force Officer, A Male US Marine in Dress Blues, A Male US Army Solider, and A Female Coast Guard Officer.

I will find out on July 1st on who won. There were some real great designs, and a couple of very commplicated ones. I chose netural Military Colors as I wanted it simple and not to flashy Just like how a Service Member likes it! (at least that is how I liked it, when I was in the US Army!). :-)

Its password blocked. But I have s copy of all the other 11 finalists.

UPDATE,

I was just notified of the final results, and Home Depot corporate will announce tomorrow Morning.

I WON!

THey will refine the Concept, and will be formally introduced later in the fall! I am so stoked! :-)

It really is a great design. I hope they're going to compensate you accordingly.
