Many believed throughout the entire season that this would be the matchup we’d see in the Gridiron Bowl, with the top teams in each conference, boasting the league’s top offense of Boston, going head to head against the league’s top defense of St. Louis. Goes to show you that anything can happen come playoff time. Both the Bobcats and Brewers had excellent season’s but they ended prematurely in the Conference Championship games. The Bobcats ran into one of the league’s top defenses, probably the best they have seen thus far this season in the Royals, who held Boston to just 16 points, which is the least points Boston’s top scoring offense has scored all season. They will face the league’s best defense this week in the redemption game. Will they redeem themselves by getting the offense back up and running?

The Brewers defense is what many thought would bring them a title this season. It has been top of the league all year long, and very opportunistic. However, the Eagles have the championship experience that other teams don’t, and they found a way to beat this great defense last Sunday by finding the endzone three times, and making the plays to keep drives going. Redemption for the Brewers will mean going head to head against the best offense in the league, and shutting it down. Although this is an exhibition, both teams have said they are geared up for this one, and want to win just as badly as any other game this season. Should be a good one to follow.
