2023 Week 1

Week 1 kicks off tomorrow, with the defending champs, the Louisiana Royals hosting Eastern Conference rivals, the Carolina Reapers.

I’m at a conference this week, so I probably won’t have the chance to get the lines and game previews written up. It looks like the simulation ran all the way through for preseason week 2, so I expect the simulation will be up and running for week 1 (still have that team name issue to fix for a couple teams, but I’ll get to that soon).

I’m also a little behind on getting uniform and field combos in, but I can get to that this week, if not catch up today.

Good luck to all teams this week, and I’ll be back and more active as usual next week.

If anything though, this does show that the GSL may need an assistant commissioner to take over operations when I’m unavailable (at conference’s for work, or on vacation), or to help me make some league decisions. If anyone is interested in that position, you can email me, and I’ll get back to you next week.
