Week 2 - 2023

Week 2 kicks off tomorrow with the Washington Stars meeting division rivals, the Boston Bobcats.

I'm still a little behind on a bunch of things, so I don't know if I will get to the game previews again this week, then I'll be traveling again next week. Just tough to get to everything right now.
I'm open to someone else writing the game previews, or at least putting the betting lines out there, so we know favorites, and expected points, and things like that.
That would mean you would know which GSL teams map to which NFL teams (which might ruin your enjoyment of know how good teams might be this season), but that comes with the job.

I was able to get the lines out for this week.
To those who offered to help with these, I can give you the process I used for future weeks.
I won't have time to do the little game preview write ups, but you all are welcome to put your own spins on these matchups how you see fit.

Big game for us this weekend. We never seem to beat Toronto but we did beat them last game vs the,m.
We need this game if we want to win the division, and I think the boys are ready

Finally was able to make the team name fix on the game center, and for live play by play pages.
Kind of a weird issue that I could only really figure out while live games with bad team names were currently playing, but it's finally fixed, and hopefully for good.

Aliens are out here playing like the Broncos or Lamar less Ravens

Fourth Quarter game management and bad penalties cost us the game.

Ugh.

Least points allowed in the league (among teams with 2 games played)

i'M liking this squad we got this year. Big tough foought division win!

Top team in the West, at least by tie breakers.
We're playing better than expected, so that can only be a good sign for us moving forward.

Another great game from whoever our running back is, including a near 50yd touchdown run to seal the game.

Preeeeetty good.

Birmingham gets its first win of the season. Let's go. Great weekend for me. DC is undefeated, and Birmingham is 1-1.

WOW for the first time The Miami SOL have won their first two games. Time to keep up the momentum! ;-)
