A good test early in the season, for the supprising Miami SOL. They will be hosted by a very good Memphis Demons squad! It is going to be FUN!

Another good outing for us. Great start to the season , but we got to keep it rolling

Alright a TON to cover about the weirdest and wildest game I have and will ever see.

The first half was very boring with only 1 touchdown and 3 field goals, the second half brought some odd occurrences with the simulation, here are some I caught.









And to cap it off a fumble that almost cost us the game but the kicker missed the field goal.

Yeah, that game went down to the end. We needed some more yards for that late field goal. Had the distance at least.

48 unanswered points/55-7 since going down 14-0 is absurd. 3-0

Just wanna say something about those high scoring games, no single team in GSL history has scored more than 60 points in a game. Even the NFL hasn't seen a 60+ point game in a while, shows how rare those types of games really are.

The closest was Jacksonville with 58 in week 9 of 2022.

Goes to show how hard it is to score that many times in a game. The quickest way to 56 points is with 8 touchdowns, which is hard enough. The quickest way over 60 is going to be 9 touchdowns (we're assuming team's aren't going for 2 the entire game, and making it consistently, especially with this simulation). That's just a lot of touchdowns, and many GSL games won't give you enough possessions to score that many times.

Just as a test, I wanted to do some simulations by hand with the program being used on the backend of the GSL, to see if I could get to 60+ points. Using the 2008 Lions and the 2007 Patriots, it took me probably 30 to 40 simulations before I got a score of 63 to 17, which included 9 Patriots scoring drives, all touchdowns. So, it's pretty hard to reach that many points.

We have a decent enough Defense, but our 3-yards and a cloud of dust offense needs a kick in the rear. Glad we ground it out against the Atoms.
