Awesome, thanks for putting this together!

I need to start updating the standings to show which teams have been eliminated from the playoffs, and which teams have clinched a playoff spot.
As of now, I don't think any playoff spots have been secured, as in both conferences, the best record is 10-2 and the #8 teams are both 7-5, and can surpass the top teams.
In the Western Conference, all 3-9 team are eliminated, since Vegas and Salt Lake play each other week 17, meaning one of those team will at worst finish 8-8.

This brings up something for teams to prepare for.
Once your team wins a division, start getting your playoff field designs ready. It'll be better for me to start getting them ready for the website as soon as I can, with how busy I've been lately. I've been adding texture to the playoff fields recently, so that extra lead time helps.

We;ve gone from 4th, to 3rd in the North divisson. Only makes sense we will finish 2nd this season.

Seattle has a habbit of falling apart at the end of the season, and missing the playoffs. Maybe with our remaining schedule we won't collapse this year. Helps that Las Vegas and Salt Lake play eachother, so one of those teams will have another loss.

I have the playoff bracket ready to go. Just need to fill it up!

This might seem really cocky but I got my playoff field designs finished at the start of the season. And btw it's just a coincidence.

I made six and I already know which one I'm using (assuming we make the playoffs).

Memphis has secured a playoff spot, but Kansas City can win the Heartland division if they win out, even if Memphis wins their next two games.

I see I mistakenly eliminated the Dallas Regulators, but, they can still win the South division.
Dallas can win the division if they win out, and they finish with the same record or better than Arizona and Albuquerque.

Dallas can also win the division if they lose the next game vs Wisconsin, then win out, and finish with the same or better record than Arizona and Albuquerque. This would be based on division record, and because they play Albuquerque and Arizona the final two weeks.

Just a small correction but Jacksonville already swept Miami so wouldn’t Miami be out of contention since they can’t pass us?

A three-way tie at 8-8 between Jacksonville, Miami and Carolina removes head to head record. Said tie would give Jacksonville and Miami a 3-3 division record, and Carolina 4-2. So it looks like you’re right for a different reason, and I’ll be making the correction.

Time to win the division this week! And in the process knock out both division opponents!

Correction: Knock out Baltimore if they lose, Boston still has a chance if they win to go to the playoffs.

I already have a playoff field template for New York, so they should be ready to go for their playoff game.
I will need one from Birmingham, now that it's confirmed that they will be hosting a playoff game.

Some other teams should be preparing playoff fields as well. There are several teams close: Toronto and Jacksonville are likely division champs. Oakland wins the division with a win next week. Memphis and Kansas City should both have field ideas prepared, but that division could go down to the final game of the season, and then we have Arizona and Albuquerque, whose division might not be decided until week 17 as well. Since I add texture to the fields for the playoffs, the earlier I can get the designs, the more likely it is I'll be able to get the fields up by game day.

Who gets the primetime game week 17?
If the Heartland division championship comes down to that last week, Kansas City @ Memphis would be a great game. It's already been moved to 6:00PM, so 8:15PM is another easy move ot make.

Correct, Jacksonville has clinched the 4 seed in the Eastern Conference.
Miami and Louisiana will be eliminated, by conference record, in a 3+ way tie with Baltimore/Boston.

IF, the Kansas City @ Memphis game ends up being a defacto divisional title game, then yes, that would move to 8:15PM as the season ending Sunday night game.
Looking at the rest of the week 17 schedule, the only other game that might qualify is Las Vegas @ Salt Lake, IF, that is a win and in game. But that does depend on what Seattle does next week, and what Vegas and Salt Lake do next week. Seattle and Oakland are playing in what is basically a division championship game for Oakland next week. If Oakland wins, Seattle could be out of the wild card race, id Vegas and Salt Lake win next week.

So, we shall see, but Kansas City @ Memphis looks like the likely candidate. That's also a good game because now, with the LA loss this past weekend, Memphis could be playing for the #1 seed if they win, but if Kansas City wins, LA, if (13-3) would (I think) get the #1 seed over Kansas City via strength of victory (assuming I'm doing my math correctly). And again, all that depends on all teams winning next week, and LA winning week 17. If all teams lose next week, then strength of victory may change, but I think it would still be in LA's favor over KC.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't a LSV win clinch a playoff berth regardless of anything else? From that point BOS could only tie us in record and we have the head to head tiebreaker over them.

- If Louisville wins, they will have at least 10 wins.
- If Baltimore and Boston win all of their remaining games they will tie at 10-6.
- In a 3-way tie at 10-6 Baltimore drops out Boston on division record 4-2/3-3, and beats Louisville on conference record 9-3/8-4. Baltimore clinches playoff berth. Louisville beats Boston H2H 1-0. Louisville clinches playoff berth.

I can foresee a scenario where everything happens that needs to for KC, in the most improbably fashion, and the #1 seed is there for the taking... then Memphis blows them out Sunday night

Onto the playoffs, with our #1 seed. We get to skip the wild card! (which is definitely as exciting as it sounds!).

Arizona really blew that division championship 3-peat to end the season. Went 0-6 down the stretch, when only 1 win would have been enough to clinch the division, in the end.

Kansas City almost got their SOV parlay. Portland and Vancouver damn near pulled it off. We were mere seconds away from a 6-10 division winner too. That can’t sit well with Seattle.
