Feeling depressed

As most every one here knows I have been a High School and Part time Junior College official for over 30 years. I was notified just this evening that the crew I joined this past year to help get into the AZ State HS playoffs "Dumped" me just 5 weeks before the start of the season. All the other crews are basicly set and Now I have no crew and looking at possibly not working most of the season, or being a "Sub" for a crew needing an official. I am 57 years old and not really wanting to start over again, but here I am at a quandry. I love being an offical, it makes me happy and I feel young when I am on the field. It is hard to imagine that I could for the 1st time in 3 decades might not puting the uniform on, or possibly calling it quits. All be cause my previous crew dumped me. I wanted to go out on my own terms and leave when it was time. Now it may have just had retirement forced upon me,

Sorry to hear that. With such a long tenure, I hope you'd be able to find a crew, or some assignments this season. Best of luck man
