NYJ - 1990 Pre Season

Hey guys, I haven't had any luck searching electronic images online yet, but one thing that occurred to me this morning is that during the 1990 preseason the Jets continued wearing their 1989 uniforms. They officially broke out the new uniforms with the black trim and green pants on opening day in Cincinnati.

I'll dig through my yearbooks and game programs from 1990 to see if I can come up with an image or two that are scan worthy. AP Images, Getty Images, US Presswire and Corbis haven't turned anything up for me.

Can we confirm they wore both green AND white jerseys at some point during the 1990 Preseason?

You know, that's a real good question.

The Jets went WAH for the majority of the Joe Walton era ('85-'89) and switched to green at home under Bruce Coslet. I don't recall what they did for their home preseason games in 1990...for that game against the Giants shown above the Jets were the road team.

Entire Preseason on the road. I doubt KC would have worn white at home! TB could definitely have gone WAH and possibly even Philly.
