On a sidenote, does anyone know why the Rams intermittently wore their white jerseys at home during the 1978 season? From 1973-77, since they brought back the yellow, they had only wore blue jerseys at home. Suddenly in 1978, they wear their white jerseys for 7 out of 10 home games, including the playoffs. I can partially understand the Rams wearing their blue jerseys for the two night games (Steelers and Bengals), but they also wore the blue jerseys for a day game against the 49ers. The next year, in 1979, they wore their white jerseys at home only twice, both times against AFC teams.

I only bring this up because usually when NFL teams wear white at home (a practice I hate), at least it's usually because of hot weather...and then the team switches to their dark jerseys as the year wears on. This certainly makes sense for teams like the Dolphins and Buccaneers. But when there's no rhyme or reason to it, then it irks me.
