GSL 2021 Week 4 Empty GSL 2021 Week 4

Post  Austin Snelick Thu Mar 11, 2021 10:52 am

Week 4 starts tonight with the Royals headed to Norfolk to take on the Commanders.

Louisiana @ Norfolk 3/11 8:15PM
The Commanders hope to rebound after a disappointing loss at home last week. They open as huge favorites in tonight's matchup.
NOR -18
o/u 43

Pennsylvania @ Toronto 3/14 1:00PM
In one of the premier matchups of the week, the undefeated Keystones head to Toronto to take on the undefeated Terror. This matchup will determine who has control over the North division, and who could be looking up from second place in the division for a big part of the year. The Keystones again find themselves as favorites, but the Terror are no stranger to pulling out close games, and upset wins.
PEN -7
o/u 53

Cincinnati @ Wisconsin 3/14 1:00PM
In another North division matchup, we find two evenly matched teams. The Knights are slim road favorites. Each team needs a win to cement them selves as possible contenders for a playoff spot, and a division win would be big for either team, as they are in a tough division, with both the Keystones and Terror.
CIN -2
o/u 38

Jacksonville @ Miami 3/14 1:00PM
Both teams are coming off a win this week. Miami got their first win of the season last week, and is looking for more, and the team has a little more to play for this week.
MIA -10
o/u 35.5

Louisville @ Baltimore 3/14 1:00PM
The Lightning are coming off a big Thursday night win, and are trying to remain ahead in the South division. Baltimore needs a win to avoid falling further behind in the playoff race in the early going, especially with all East division teams coming into this weekend as favorites.
BAL -5.5
o/u 60.5

St. Louis @ San Antonio 3/14 4:30PM
The Brewers look to be in trouble of dropping their first four games of the season. The Texans are looking to get back to winning, and hope that their defense will take the field at some point this season.
SA -10.5
o/u 60.5

Memphis @ Dallas 3/14 4:30PM
The Comets are hoping to continue with success, in their rough open road stretch. This will be their 3rd of 4 games on the road to start the season, and they have another road game next week, starting 5 of 7 on the road. If the Comets can get the win, as they are expected to, over the Diesel, they can set themselves up for a good start, with many home games down the stretch in the second half of the season.
MEM -7
o/u 58

Arizona @ Seattle 3/14 4:30PM
The Eagles will find a good test on the road in Seattle this week. Arizona is one of four 3-0 teams in a game against a team with a winning record this week. Seattle had a strong outing last week, and they are looking for an upset at home, in what would be a big win for them.
ARZ -4.5
o/u 55.5

Colorado @ Oakland 3/14 4:30PM
In another big matchup in the western conference, the 3-0 Cabras head to Oakland, to face a strong Icons defense, which looks to be a huge factor in this game. The Icons are the slight favorites in this one.
OAK -3
o/u 33

Albuquerque @ Los Angeles 3/14 4:30PM
The Atoms are favorites in this game, as they are trying to get back to .500 on the season. The Express need a win to avoid putting themselves in too deep a hole to start this season.
ABQ -9.5
o/u 40.5

Las Vegas @ San Diego 3/14 8:15PM
The Sunday night matchup is a big game for both teams, who could be looking at a long season if they lose. The Outlaws are still looking for win number 1, and San Diego needs a win to keep pace with Seattle and Oakland in the Pacific division.
SD -5.5
o/u 65.5

Atlanta @ Washington 3/15 8:15PM
The Stars again look to depend on their defense Monday night, and want to continue a strong start to the 2021 season. Atlanta is yet another team looking for a first win, but it likely will not happen this week.
WAS -15.5
o/u 35.5

The 1:00 games have concluded, and we had some tight ones.

Pennsylvania @ Toronto
In this week's game of the week, the Keystones were the team to come out still without a loss, as they narrowly got by the Terror.
For more coverage of this game, follow the KDSF broadcast crew.

Cincinnati @ Wisconsin
The Knights jumped out to the lead early in this one, and held on to it until mid way through the fourth quarter, where the Stags scored the go ahead touchdown to get the division win at home, upsetting the Knights.

Baltimore stormed out in front in this game, building a 28 point lead just before the half. The Lightning tried to mount a comeback, but the deficit was too much. The Atoms struggled early in this game, but found their footing in the third, going up by 11 points. It seemed the Atoms had taken control over the game, and were headed for their expected victory. However, in the fourth, the Express were able to take their first drive of the quarter into the endzone. Another good drive for the Express ended in a touchdown late in the fourth, giving them the one point lead.
