For Salt Lake's exhibition game this week

Who is the opponent in the exhibition game?

When did Salt Lake City get a team?
Had Salt Lake City Yellow Jackets primed for the 2022 GUD season. Oh well.

The GSL Development team. So think kind of like XFL 2020's "Team 9". Just leftover players.

The Trappers were the odd team out when I capped the league at 24 teams for scheduling reasons. So they are part of the league for development for now, and throughout the offseason if needed.

Greg, if you want to work on another city/team for GSL expansion, in the mean time I'd be happy to offer the Yellow Jackets a spot in the UWFFL for the Fall 2021 season.

Yeah, don't let that logo go to waste!! Surprised that isn't an alt logo for the Bees!

Greg, if you want to work on another city/team for GSL expansion, in the mean time I'd be happy to offer the Yellow Jackets a spot in the UWFFL for the Fall 2021 season.

I want to point out that I'm going to be prioritizing new owners in the GSL expansion, since I've already had some interest from multiple prospective owners. I thnk that's more fair in the long run, to include new people, instead of having one owner own multiple teams.

Thanks, I was kind of surprised how perfect it worked out to have a team based on the old Frankford Yellow Jackets set in Salt Lake City, and the colors and design of the city flag all matching up (as well as the history of Bees in town).

As far as teams for next year, if there are plenty of new owners lined up let them have at it, if at the end we need another team in to reach an even number, I have a few designs in the can for cities not yet in the league.

I could set up a period for new owners only, and if we get too close to the deadline, I can open up for multi team owners. We'll see how it goes.
