Premier League Week 1 - Schedule (Post Uniforms and Fields)

Okay we will get to all the rest of the stuff when we get to it, but in the meantime we will be kicking off the 2021 Premier League Fall Season in this thread.  Games will begin this weekend.  Please post your uniforms and field designs in this thread.

Teams will be aligned in divisions as follows:

North Division: Hartford, Motor City, Pontiac, Youngstown
South Division: Birmingham, Florida, Little Rock, Miami
West Division: Anchorage, Iowa, Minnesota, Vancouver

Premier League teams will play a 17 game schedule:
Home-and-away against divisional opponents (6 games)
Teams in other divisions once (8 games)
Interleague vs La Lega (2 games)
Interleague vs Continental League (1 game) (all games at Premier League site)

In 2021, all Premier league teams will play 9 home games and 8 road games.  In 2022, the Interleague games against the Continental League will be played at the Continental League site and all teams will play 8 home games and 9 road games.

Premier League play will feature six games weekly, with every game in it's own time slot.  With it being the only league playing this weekend (Continental League and Division II will start next week), game schedule will be as follows:

Thursday Night, September 9 (10 PM Eastern)
Vancouver (0-0) at Anchorage (0-0)
The Two Time defending Champion Orcas kick off the season against the Seawolves.

Saturday Night, September 11 (8 PM Eastern)
Pontiac (0-0) at Hartford (0-0)
The Prowlers travel east to Connecticut to take on the Whalers in a key Northern Division matchup.

Sunday, September 12 (1 PM Eastern)
Motor City (0-0) at Youngstown (0-0)
The Drive kick off their 2021 campaign against a Youngstown team that barely escaped relegation.

Sunday, September 12 (4:45 PM Eastern)
Iowa (0-0) at Minnesota (0-0)
The Corn make their Premier League debut against the Mustangs.

Sunday, September 12 (8:30 PM Eastern)
Birmingham (0-0) at Little Rock (0-0)
The Diamondbacks came one game short of a championship in 2020 and they kick off their 2021 campaign against their regional rival, the Vulcans.

Monday, September 13 (9:00 PM Eastern)
Florida (0-0) at Miami (0-0)
Two teams debuting in Premier League close out the Week One schedule on Monday Night Football as the Continental League champion Cougars and the Division II Champion Geckos face off in a turf battle for South Sunshine State supremacy.

Florida will wear their "U" set for the first battle for south Florida.

Motor City will wear the road white with Navy helmets and pants Vs Youngstown!

Okay update for Premier League Week 1... we still need uniform combo selections for Vancouver, Youngstown, Minnesota and Miami and field selections for Youngstown, Minnesota and Miami.  Plus, everyone please check that the field/stadium name is correct.

For Minnesota, are the Mustangs playing at U.S. Bank stadium, home of the Vikings?  Or at the home of the Golden Gophers?  For Miami, are the Cougars playing at Hard Rock Stadium?  I gave Miami and Minnesota home games this week because the Vikings and Dolphins are on the road.  Games may be scheduled on the same weekend as other events, but if there is less than 48 hours, field decoration changes from the actual field used (NFL or otherwise) will be limited to covering/replacing/adding the small logos at the 25s.  We will try to accommodate all schedule requests as best as possible.  

Also Miami, you released a fields and uniforms for Continental League, but they got promoted and never got to use the field, as the 2020 season was played at neutral site. So if you would like to update it for Premier, that would be great.  And I have the field and combos for Vancouver, so for the Seawolves we just need a combo selection for Thursday night at Anchorage.

Full schedules for all leagues will be released at the end of the week, on Friday we will draw for interleague opponents.  (Premier vs La Lega, Premier vs Continental and Division II interleague)

And, yes, we will still be releasing the Union Cup and Champions' League results, as if they had been played at the scheduled time, we haven't forgotten about it.

There was a manufacturers defect when we received our new unis for week one. The shade of purple in our new unis was incorrect. These were presented to the UWFFL league office prematurely when unboxed , and the employee responsible has been " let go'"

Our fault, so if the league office will let us, we would like to use the uni below for week 1. This will be the proper shade going forward. If not, we will accept the consequences and wear the unis already presented for week 1.
