1946 Buffalo Bisons

I recently came across this photo of the Buffalo Bisons



Obviously this is not a game photo, but here they have striped socks while in the image in the database the socks are plain white.

In coming across games in my research for 1946 where the Bisons wore their white jerseys, I only noticed solid white socks being worn. Having said that, I definitely didn't have pics from every game they played that year. I hope to rectify in a future visit to the Library of Congress, but thst may not occur until next year.

Should you (or anyone) come across a pic or two where striped socks are being worn with the white jerseys, please by all means pass along!

Anyone notice the broken 'schnozzolla' on number 80?

Kinda like my friend in 2nd grade who knocked out a front tooth on the way to school when our bus hit a pothole and got blood all over his shirt for school photos!
