2023 GSL Schedule Release

I have put out a partial schedule onto the website this morning.
Weekly opponents are accurate, but the game dates and times are not yet complete.

I still need to set the stadiums, change game times to 4:30 for games hosted by Western Conference teams, and put in the primetime games.

The preseason games are also yet to be added.

No. I don't have international games, Easter, or any primetime games figured out yet.
I usually like to pick teams that haven't been in international games yet to go. Same for Easter. Then primetime games I make sure every team gets to host at least one, and try to make the number of games as even as I can.

I probably won't get to these things until later this month.

I am however open to suggestions by individual teams, if they have a specific primetime game they want to host (keep in mind, your opponent matters, if they have been requested for other primetime games already by others).

Is week 16 too late in the season for a prime time game because if so I would like the Atlanta and St Louis game to be prime time if St Louis’ owner agrees.

I would also like to make the week 7 matchup against Carolina a prime time game as it will be the White Out game in Atlanta that week.

I do want a Monday or Sunday night game on week 7 against the Boston Bobcats if he's ok with that.

Since Atlanta’s home game vs Carolina is being played at Clemson and as I want the whiteout to take place in Atlanta, I’ve decided to move the Whiteout game to Week 10 vs Pennsylvania.

I'm fine with 1 prime time game at home. I don't care who or when. Is it possible to get the Brewers in the London or Germany game this season? Home or away doesn't matter.

Just to clarify I would like the Atlanta Aliens Weeks 7 and 10 home matchups to be prime time games as well as the Aliens road matchup with my former team the St Louis Brewers to be a prime time matchup as well.

I'm currently working on the International games at this point. I have the host teams, and the cities they will be playing in at this point.
Only one game is set in stone right now.

International Series Cities:
London, England
Munich, Germany
Mexico City, Mexico
Dublin, Ireland
Madrid, Spain

I have set the Germany game as Colorado @ St. Louis for week 9.
Other games yet to be determined, but host teams have been determined.

Montreal will host in London
Albuquerque will host in Mexico
Washington will host in Ireland
Kansas City will host in Spain

Full International Series Schedule is now set, featuring 10 teams that have not yet played in an international series game.
The schedule is as follows:

Week 5 - 3:00PM Dublin, Ireland: Birmingham Owls @ Washington Stars
Week 7 - 2:30PM Madrid, Spain: Jacksonville Captains @ Kansas City Buffaloes
Week 9 - 2:30PM Munich, Germany: Colorado Cabras @ St. Louis Brewers
Week 11 - 3:00PM London, England: Louisville Lightning @ Montreal Maroons
Week 14 - 8:15PM Mexico City, Mexico: Dallas Regulators @ Albuquerque Atoms (Monday Night Football)

Easter Sunday Games have been set

1:00PM Dallas @ San Antonio
4:30PM Arizona @ Salt Lake
8:15PM Atlanta @ Cincinnati

The Mothers Day Sunday night game has also been set

Portland @ Oakland

For the second straight year, San Antonio will host a prime time game during San Antonio Fiesta

Other scheduling notes.
Thursday night games will run from week 1 to week 8. After week 8, Saturday night games will run through the end of the season in the place of Thursday night games.
Flexible scheduling begins in week 11, with at least 1 Saturday or Sunday night game slot being open to a game of the week. In the final two weeks of the season, all Saturday and Sunday night games are open to be filled with games with playoff implications.

Also, I think I saw we have a 2:00Pm game? Is that supposed to be 1:00PM?

Yes, there are a couple of 2:00PM games. I tried to make the number of 1:00 and 4:30 games as close to even as possible every week.
The schedule 2:00 games are between two central time zone teams I believe, so those teams get a 1:00 local kickoff time.

It's possible to play some Samurais games at Autzen Stadium (Home of The Oregon Ducks)?

The Original plan was to schedule part of the schedule between Providence Park and the New Reser Stadium (Oregon State Beavers) but it seems that the Stadium only will be ready in full capacity in the 2023 college football season/2024 GSL season, so if allowed I'm going with Autzen Stadium for this season.

I'm planing to host between 2-4 games there, my picks would be week 7 vs Memphis Demons and week 11 vs St Louis Brewers are the locks, Week 5 vs Vancouver Bears and Week 15 vs San Diego Breakers are also options for Autzen Stadium.

In that same vein, like last season, I'd like to play two games outside of Denver.
For Week 2 vs the Demons, could that be at Folsom Field in Bolder, CO?
And in Week 14 hosting the Sockeyes, could that be at Canvas Stadium in Fort Collins, CO?

Playing multiple games at another venue within your region (in this case, state) is fine.
The limit set in past seasons is three home games hosted outside your designated home stadium (this would include International games).
So you will have to pick three games.
