Uniform and Field Combinations for Alternates / Prime Time - 2023

As usual, we have a thread for choosing uniform and field combinations for alternates, throwbacks, and for prime time spots only.
It is not required that you post and make decisions on these uniform combinations yet, but you can if you'd like.

Normal weekly threads will be out about a week and a half from the Sunday of regular season games.

With that, the Outlaws have designated their throwback game to Monday night in week 6:

Our schedule works out pretty well with baseball this season.

March 26th and May 13th will be in Green bay, our only overlaping games with the Brewes (baseball)
So this will be our uniform and field in Green Bay.



For other games, the same field rules I emailed the last two years will be the same, for when we have the baseball field, painted endzones, and when not.

Birmingham will wear their color rush in week 4 and week 8

Birmingham will wear All black uniforms on week 7. And Birmingham will wear Irontime in week 13.

Earlier in the season I made an announcement about the carbon fiber uniforms, I said that they would be in action in week 15 vs the Bobcats, but I changed it to week 13 vs the stars on MNF. (With the alt field of course)

For this game I think our standard road uniforms would turn this game into a "too much yellow" match-up (white jersey with yellow sleeves and yellow pants)

To solve this the Portland Samurais presents two solutions:

We can use the standard home uniforms (Blue jersey with Yellow pants) or the alternate cream uniforms (Cream jersey with blue sleeves paired with yellowpants)

We are giving Birmingham or the GSL the decision to decides what gives the best contrast/best match-up! is our pick is yours pick!

I think the blue and yellow pants should be fine. You can definitely tell the difference with the blue.

Yeah, I think the blue gives more contrast.

The field for that game is already up on the site

Week 10 vs Pennsylvania



The Aliens request that Pennsylvania wear their blackout uniforms for this game

The Aliens also have the Easter Sunday game on the road at Cincinnati so we will wait for Cincinnati to choose their uniforms first

Since the Aliens will be heading to Lambeau for our week 6 matchup I’m wondering if it will be ok if the Aliens wear their black throwback uniforms for this matchup

Adicional Color Rush/Alternate Uniforms dates may be announced during the season.

In order to keep field maintenance low during the Charlotte FC MLS season, Carolina's Week 2 Primetime game will be the only one where the end zones will be painted black.

For our Easter Prime Time game, the Cincinnati Knights will be wearing our all white combo at home.

Since Atlanta is the road team that game we will wear the throwback uniforms

We will be wearing the Canadian uniforms vs Birmingham Week 3 and Cincinnati Week 9 (pending Jack's choice)

We will wear our Green Color Rush uniforms vs Portland Week's 5 & 8

We will use the Leaf field vs Birmingham Week 3 and Portland Week 8

Just a note. I can't put in an away uniform until the home team has made a selection for a game. I can always come back here and check later, but home team gets first choice for white or color jersey.

I am still looking at dates for Miami's SOL Eclipse and SOL Monsoon Uniforms. But we are proud to announce that our Brand New SOL Orange uniform paired with SOL Navy Pants will debuit Week 4 on March 12th against Jacksonville!



Including a new field design for the occasion!



And Per a previous arrangement with the Atlanta Ailens Home game on Week 17 Sunday June 11th. Miami will go SOL Navy Color Rush!

Here is the Bobcats alternate jersey schedule

Week 2 - Will wear the blackout uniform (black helmet, black jersey, black pants)



Week 4 - Will wear the St. Patrick's day alternate (green helmet, green jersey, green pants)



Week 13 - Will wear the whiteout alternate (white helmet, white jersey, white pants)

For our week 11 Monday night game we will go red on red and I would like to request that Miami goes some color uniform so we can have a color vs Color matchup


In our week 13 game at Louisville we would like to go all white

Memphis will close out the home schedule with yellow jerseys/field against Vancouver and Kansas City.

Is it too late to request the Buffaloes go white at home for their last 5 remaining games in Kansas City? We'd be Brown over tan in Spain. Thanks.
