Week 13 - 2024

Week 13 of the GSL is shaping up to be a thrilling one, with several crucial games on the schedule. The highlight of the week is the clash between the Louisiana Royals (8-3) and the Carolina Reapers. The Royals are in a tight race for the top spot in the Central Division of the Eastern Conference, currently trailing the Louisville Lightning (9-2). A victory here could give them a much-needed boost and make the competition for the division's top spot even more intense.

On the other hand, the Reapers have been the most dominant team in the league so far. They were undefeated until last week when they were defeated by the Salt Lake Trappers. A win here would be significant in solidifying their leadership in the fight for the number 1 seed in the Eastern Conference.

Saturday afternoon also promises some exciting action with an interesting game between the Portland Samurais and the New York CityHawks. Both teams, with a 6-5 record, are vying for a Wildcard spot in their respective conferences. This is undoubtedly a game to watch.

At the same time, the Vancouver Bears (9-2) will face off against the Boston Bobcats (9-2). This game could potentially be a preview of the Gridiron Bowl, as both teams have impressive records and stand a good chance of being the number 1 seeds in their conferences. Vancouver has a comfortable lead in their division title race, with a three-game advantage over the second-placed Portland Samurais (6-5). The Bears are currently in a direct fight with the Houston Halos (10-1) for the privilege of having home-field advantage in the playoffs.

Boston, on the other hand, is still in a tight race for their division title, with stiff competition from the Washington Stars. The late window on Saturday also features several important games in the frantic fight for the Western Conference Wildcard, with Albuquerque @ St Louis, Seattle @ Oakland, and the game in Mexico between Colorado and Las Vegas being the ones to watch.

On Mother's Day, the spotlight is on the big game between the Toronto Terror (8-3) and the Kansas City Buffaloes (8-3). Toronto is maintaining a good pace, leading the North Division of the Eastern Conference with some room to spare, but they are somewhat distant from the fight for the number 1 seed. Meanwhile, Kansas City also has a good record and is in a strong position in their division.

This week promises to be an exciting one for GSL fans, with high stakes and intense competition. Stay tuned for all the action!

Another huge game on our comeback tour. Would be huge to get a win against a team that's been near the top all year too.

A huge victory today, important to keep the team alive in the fight for the wildcard spot, interestingly the team remains undefeated this year when wearing a color rush or alternative uniform, regardless of whether it is the yellow or the cream combo!

Today's game was extremely important, as we still have major challenges in the coming weeks, such as Houston next Sunday and Vancouver in 15 days, and two division clashes in the final 2 weeks of the 2024 season

I missed the game. I can't believe I didn't see what day the game was, especially one that was as important as this one. 

2-0 at Lambeau baby (the Aliens first ever win was at Lambeau last season)

Well that line was way off. Looks we are just mailing it in. But given how much the team has been beaten upon. It is only natural. Still in line for the worst record in the GSL. We have to play Jacksonville the last couple of weeks of the season. Looking hang a banner. No matter how we got it. LOL.
