1994 - 97 Denver Broncos Updates
Wonderful site - badly needed and well done.
A few things to tidy up in the Broncos realm.
1994 - 96 - Excluding the throwbacks in 1994, "Name" for both home and away is outlined in orange (vs white only for home and blue only for road)
http://endzonesportscharities.org/PDFs/Uni_1994.pdf
1997 - Navy pants were unveiled as part of the new set and were worn in preseason only.

Re: 1994 - 97 Denver Broncos Updates
Sweet. Thanks.
Can't believe I missed this before, but there is also an small issue with 1989-93 for Denver.
When Wilson took over from Russell, they changed from the 5 stripe pattern on the jerseys to the 3 stripe pattern pattern that you have reflected on the 1994 jerseys.

Yep - 2001 throwbacks were modeled after the 1986-87 (SB XXI - XXII) era jerseys, with the numbers moved to the shoulders so the striping could be preserved on a sleeveless modern jersey.

Thanks. Took a while to do all of the weekly matchups for Denver from 1989-93 (and also 94-96). I'm starting to think "anyone but 'anyonebutdetroit' " :)

Yes! Absolutely a knock on the Wings. I'm an Avs fan. Anyonebutdetroit.com is the name of my Avs blog.

1994 denver throwback uniforms
first off awsome site very well done and orgonized. I'm sure you did your research but I thought the 94 away throwback jerseys had orange sleeves whith blue stripes and the orange jersey had blue sleeves, but you picture both with blue sleeves. I've seen throwback jerseys for sale and all the white 94 jerseys have the orange sleeves just wondering.

There are a lot of inaccuracies regarding the Broncos uniforms.
I'm working on putting together a list and will post here when I'm done with it.

Here is a pic of the jersey chalmer is talking about from Amazon -- 1994 Mitchell & Ness authentic Broncos away throwback jersey....

I wouldn't advise using that for reference, it's fake.

I'm just throwing that picture out there as representative of what he's saying, not making any claim about how accurate the jersey is.
This source also says the white road throwback jerseys also had orange sleeves:

I was just saying it's not an authentic representation.
The '94 Throwback had an orange collar and the orange sleeves flanked with blue. The original 1965-66 uniforms had a white collar on the orange jersey and a blue collar on the white jersey.
That's just one of several inaccuracies I've noticed.

I'm working on getting all the stuff together.
I have to go through and crop the photos since they're originals from Getty.

Re: 1994 - 97 Denver Broncos Updates
This link to a newspaper shot is the only pic we've seen of the white 1994 Denver throwbacks...
http://news.google.com/newspapers?id=QLdQAAAAIBAJ&sjid=SdAMAAAAIBAJ&pg=4537,3352349&dq=buffalo-bills&hl=en
totally inconclusive to me.
Anyone got anything better?
here is the orange one with clearly an orange collar.
Beat me to it!
Thanks Rob!

Re: 1994 - 97 Denver Broncos Updates
That's why I put the screenshots from the game --- it may not be the clearest, but it is at least proof that they did wear orange sleeves and not blue. It may not be the most detailed picture to work off of, but it does show they didn't have the blue sleeves that we have in the database.

Re: 1994 - 97 Denver Broncos Updates
I could kinda see it in the B/W photo (the sleeves) but the real gem from your screenshots was the orange collar in the 1st image!
Thanks.
Thanks.

1997 Broncos
Hey - just noticed a minor issue - looks like the Navy pants are misbranded with Reebok and NFL Equipment logos.
