Tampa Bay's saturday night home openers 1977-81

not really uniform related but I know people on the site have tv information as well. where the Saturday night home opener televised by cbs or nbc depending on opponent or by abc as it was a night game?

These games were not normally seen on network television, but were televised locally to at least the visiting team's market.

1977:
Vikings at Buccaneers was seen on tape delay on WTCN the following night to the Twin Cities. It was not seen in the Tampa Bay region.

1978:
Giants at Buccaneers was seen on WCBS in New York. It was not seen in the Tampa Bay region.

1979:
Lions at Buccaneers was seen on WJBK in Detroit. It was not seen in the Tampa Bay region.

1980:
Rams at Buccaneers WAS televised nationally by ABC as a "Thursday Edition" of Monday Night Football.

1981:
Vikings at Buccaneers was seen on KSTP in the Twin Cities and WTOG in Tampa/St. Petersburg.

in 1977 WTCN in mpls was an independent station and in 1981 KSTP was the ABC station

Except for the ABC game, these were all locally produced by the visiting team, with facilities (production truck, cables, etc.) rented from Tampa Bay concerns.
