NYG 1986 Spider patches

The Giants premiered the Spider patches on MNF @ Dallas in Week 1 of the Regular Season. You should have the plain jerseys labled "worn for Pre Season only."

I did a lot of research on this topic, but came up with very little photographic evidence. I went through my Giants 1987 yearbook, and my 1986 game programs looking for preseason photos. The only one I saw was of Sean Landetta punting, but on his follow through his left arm was elevated and obscured his left shoulder!

Of the Giants 4 Pre Season games that year, they wore their blue jerseys 3 times. At Atlanta the Falcons went WAH, at Green Bay (actually Madison, WI) the Giants wore white, then they of course wore blue for their 2 home games against the Jets and Steelers.

Yeah pretty reasonable that if they didnt have it for the LAST preseason game, it wasnt going to show up for any of the first 3 either.
