2021 Preseason Week 1 Uniforms

This is the official thread for choosing your team's uniforms for the first week of the 2021 GSL preseason.

How this will work:
1. State your team name
2. You can either post the image of the uniform you want you team to wear, or describe the uniform combo (jersey color, pants color, sock color, and helmet color (if more than on helmet)).

Once you have given your combo, the decision is final. For away teams, make sure you have noted what the home team is wearing (can't pick a white jersey, if the other team is wearing white at home). Color vs color matchups are allowed, but they will need league approval, to make sure colors don't clash.

Here's my example for the Las Vegas Outlaws for preseason week 1:

Las Vegas Outlaws
Jersey: white
Pants: orange

San Antonio Texans

Wisconsin Stags


What about fields? Should I post that also?

I updated the uniform.

For the fields, that will only be a regular season thing. I don't do the preseason fields for the GUD, because they are so variable, and I don't want to spend the time to make the fields for preseason games. Plus, the fields don't show up on the preseason web pages anyways, so it's more work for little return.

In the regular season, I'll make 1 thread per week, that will be for both your teams uniforms, and field, if your team is the home team. So you'd just put that all in the same post. Some teams only have 1 field design, so their fields are already in.

Jersey: White
Pants: Yellow

Pants: gold

To be honest, I'm not familiar on how to post images on forums, forgive me, but here's the Washington Stars' uniform for Week 1:

To post an image, click on the little picture with the green plus button (two buttons left of the you tube button). Then just enter an image URL.

I got a good question form someone about choosing uniforms that I'd like to share with everyone.

The question was "as the away team, should we say, I want my team to wear this, unless the home team chooses to wear white at home, in which case, I want my team to wear this?"

So, if the home team hasn't chosen a uniform yet, you can give me two options, in case the home team wears white at home. That way, you don't have to wait on the home team to make their uniform decision.

Also, as another note on a different topic, I won't be posting the threads for each week until maybe two weeks or less before that week. I started this one early, so we could all get the hang of how choosing uniforms would go. I think I'll put the preseason week 2 thread up February 1st.

The Atoms are traditionalist with their uniforms. For home games they will wear their orange jerseys with white pants. On the road they will wear white jerseys with orange pants. If the home team is wearing white the Atoms wear orange jersey with white pants on the road. Later in the season, as it gets warmer, due to playing in a warm climate, the Atoms may wear their white jersey at home, with white pants, if the game time temperature exceeds 80 degrees.

Heads up for Norfolk: Their high resolution image files for their uniforms are actually thumbnail sized, so they're super small instead of being the full size images.

It's fixed now. Do a shift+refresh to clear cache on the web page if the wrong image still shows up.

I'll update this as soon as I finish with your uniforms combos (I know I'm a little behind; still working on Atlanta's fields).

Atlanta will be wearing all white for both of their preseason games, at Dallas and our home debut against Albuquerque.
