A tribute to the ones we lost on September 11th 2001

Twenty-two years ago, on September 11th, 2001, nearly 3,000 innocent lives were taken from us in the World Trade Center complex, the Pentagon, and Brave passengers on United Airlines Flight 93 that crashed in Somerset County, Pennsylvania. This included civilians, firefighters, law enforcement officers, and military personnel. Families were left without fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, and cousins. We also salute the unfathomably brave NYPD firefighters who risked and willingly walked into danger to help others in need. A red poppy is also there to remember ones lost during world wars and other wars.

This uniform and field are used during the 2024 Memorial Day Classic at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, vs. an undetermined opponent. The red poppy will likely be replaced for the Memorial Day Classic logo, although a compromise will be appreciated. The blank spots in the end zones are where the Memorial Day Classic logo will be placed.
