What years were those photos?
I wonder if it was because they were sharing the Coliseum with USC that they didn't paint the primary logo at the 50.

The logo at midfield issue was because of the Rams, yes, though I don't exactly remember when they made that permanent.
The pictures with the "LOS ANGELES" endzones are both from 1988. (Week 10 and Week 11).
The gray "RAIDERS" endzones were from 1989. (Week 11)
The black "RAIDERS" endzones were from 1993. (Week 10)
