1994 Bucs Mr. C helmet sticker & manufactrer logo

I remember somebody (about 99.9% sure it was Mako) asked for a pic of the Bucs' 1994 "Mr. C" Culverhouse memorial helmet decal over the Summer. I've looked through my games from that year, and I can never seem to find a real good close-up of it, but here is a shot:



I am positive it is same font and style as the jersey decal they used in 1993, just white letters on black instead of orange-and-red:



If I ever find a better view of it, I will post it.

But when doing this - I also noticed that the Russell Athletic manufacturer logo is on the orange sleeve stripe for most of the players. It only is above and beside the TV number for the linemen whose sleeve stripes don't show.




Also the same on the orange uniforms:



This #27 linebacker Barney Bussey seems to be the only exception. Other than him, all the linemen that have the sleeves not showing have the logo where #27's is, yet all the rest have it on the stripe like #55.

Now as far as I can tell, the only difference between TB's regular 1994 combos and the 'throwback' edition was that for their throwback they wore white pants. In both photos they are going white-over-white so the difference isn't based on regular vs. throwback. It may just be a matter of going with the most common positioning - as we've had to do before.

Yes the only change with the throwback was that the pants were white. I'll look at my 1994 games again, but I am pretty sure that the most common positioning of the Russell mark was on the stripe, as without any other exceptions (other than #27) it's only the linemen who aren't showing the stripes that have the logo in the higher position. (like #62 below)

Ok well, now I just looked at 1994 Week 2 game vs. Indianapolis and Craig Erickson and Errict Rhett both had the logo above the numbers, so I guess never mind, there's no real rhyme or reason to it.
