Vikings pants stripes 1991 - 1993

It appears to me that for a three year period the Vikings pants stripes were wider than usual. Not quite as broad as the 49'ers for that period, but pretty close.

I'm glad you pointed that out...looking at images from 1990, those appear to be the first year of the wide stripes then.

I thought these pictures would illustrate the differences pretty well.

The Giants played Minnesota at home in '89 and '90. The Giants pants stripes are a constant, so you can see how the Vikings pants stripes broadened from one season to the next.

Not only do they seem wider in 1990-93 but they also appear to be all of equal width - as opposed to the 1989 photo with a wider central yellow and thinner bordering purples.
