NY Giants 1960's vs 1970's

Looking at some game used helmets from the 1960's and it looks like the helmet color was much lighter than in the 70's?
Does anyone know what color the helmet was during the 60's?
Having a hard time differentiating the shades

and admittedly I am not familiar with the game used equipment world, the Giants always wore dark blue/navy blue shells from 1949-1999.

Thanks Bigblue, that's what I thought, but if you go to Helmet Hut, they have a 1960's Homer Jones gamer that looks
much lighter thank those used pre '63 and post '68. I doubt that it's just lighting?

You're right about that one on the Helmet Hut site, it seems unusually light, almost the same color as the blue jersey.
