1950 Browns pants
According to httpCOLON//wwwDOTclevelandbrownsDOTcom/news/article-5/Putting-to-rest-5-historic-myths-about-the-Browns%E2%80%99-uniforms/74d243ba-9209-4627-8a17-c08a2436f4e4, the Cleveland Browns wore silver pants with their brown uniforms in 1950. They look white in many of the photos I've seen, but I did find this, which seems to bear this out:

Re: 1950 Browns pants
We stewed over this photo for a considerable amount of time. While the man in the middle looks to be wearing a Chicago Cardinal uniform, the other players around him do not fit any NFL uniform from that time period.
The NW stripes on the sleeves were worn by the Steelers. But the Steelers never wore a gold helmet with a central white stripe.
The Browns did wear and orange helmet with a central white stripe similar to what we see here, however their sleeve stripes could never be confused with the NW pattern we see here.
The most tell-tale feature we find in the photo is actually the 'baby-faces' of the two black-jerseyed players facing the the camera. All things being equal they both look very young - almost to the point where we believe this photo to be mislabeled and actually from a college or even a high school game.
BTW, we have photo of every Browns' game from 1950 except a night game at Pittsburgh. All evidence shows they wore white pants that match the white pants of other teams, even in black and white photos.

I remember this photo well. It took a while, but ultimately we discovered that it is mislabeled and actually a college game.
