in the limited hi lights against the giants. it looks like a lot of the giant players were wearing white shoes as well

Interesting observation - I know the Giants went to white in 1975. It looks like 1974 might've been a mix of white and black.

Hard to tell. I definitely think the bottoms of those cleats are green - not that that means anything, though.

This video from the Eagles' site seems to confirm that black cleats were the majority - except for WRs, maybe - in 1973.

This video from the Eagles' site seems to show mostly black cleats for everyone (not green) - except for the WRs - in 1973.
