Personally I prefer the two-bar facemask for all teams in the early to mid 70s, then a switch to the Terry Bradshaw/Drew Pearson late 70s style face mask for that period. But I surmise that'd be a lot of work.

Re: Lions week by week 1974 thru 1982
The reason for the change in these BIG updates we are currently installing was that 1974 was the first year teams wore colored facemasks other than grey. Kansas City went to white and San Diego went to yellow. We decided, for consistency's sake, that we'd universally apply the modern facemask starting in 1974 so as not to have different style facemasks.
(Note: We did break our own rule some time ago by introducing the 'Bears bar' facemask worn by the majority of Chicago Bears players throughout the 1960s.)

OK.
We just had Rob do a reinstall for the weekly matchups for ARZ/STL, ATL, BALT, BUF, CAR, CHI, CIN, CLE, DAL, DEN, & DET.
What we think happened is that Rob may have run a back-up that reverted these to their 'old images' last month shortly after they were updated the first time.
Please continue to let us know when you encounter something that doesn't look right.
