Week 11 - 2022
Week 11 - 2022 2022-04-28-1

Thursday April 28, 2022 - 8:15PM
(7-3) Louisiana Royals at (4-6) Colorado Cabras
Line: LOU -3
O/U: 48
Win Pct: LOU 58.0%
The Royals defense put together arguable their best performance of the season last week, against a Carolina offense that is used to scoring points. Can they follow that up this week in the altitude in Colorado? Tha Cabras won a game they were expected to win last week, but this week’s game is against a real contender, so they will have to do a lot more this week if they want to secure a victory, and keep climbing the standings.

Saturday April 30, 2022 - 8:15PM
(3-6) Toronto Terror at (4-5) Washington Stars
Line: TOR -9.5
O/U: 44.5
Win Pct: TOR 74.1%
Things are starting to look dim for Toronto and Washington, but the season is not over yet. Toronto is the more talented team in this matchup, but they have been playing below their potential all season long. If things can just start clicking for the Terror, they really have a chance to make a run at their weak division. For Washington, they just need a win to keep them in the wild card race.

Sunday May 1, 2022 - 1:00PM
(5-4) Birmingham Owls at (8-1) St. Louis Brewers
Line: STL -7
O/U: 44
Win Pct: STL 66.6%
The Owls have been putting together a nice little win streak here, having won their 4th straight game, but they now face their toughest opponent yet, the St. Louis Brewers. The Brewers defense is relentless and have been shutting down offenses across the league. St. Louis outmatches the Owls, and is expected to win this one, but a win for Birmingham would all of a sudden put the Owls on the map as a possible playoff team that no one would want to face.

Sunday May 1, 2022 - 1:00PM
(9-1) Boston Bobcats at (4-5) Wisconsin Stags
Line: BOS -2.5
O/U: 47
Win Pct: BOS 55.9%
The Stags have been slowly working their way back from an 0-4 start, and they may hit another bump in the road this week going up against the high flying Bobcats offense. Boston was expected to have a decent team coming into the year, but they’ve really surprised a lot of us with the way they have played. At the top of the conference, Boston has been winning with an explosive and fun offense. The Stags defense will need to keep the scoring down in order to get themselves to .500 on the year.

Sunday May 1, 2022 - 1:00PM
(3-6) Chicago Maroons at (2-8 ) Baltimore Bluebirds
Line: EVEN
O/U: 50
Win Pct: BAL 50.5%
It’s been a long time since Baltimore won a game, although they’ve had some decent games. At home against Chicago, this is a good opportunity for a win. Chicago really shocked the Keystones by blowing them out last week, putting up 48 points, in a performance we have not seen from them all season. They have to keep that kind of offense rolling in a must win game this week.

Sunday May 1, 2022 - 1:00PM
(3-7) Kansas City Buffaloes at (6-3) Cincinnati Knights
Line: CIN -11
O/U: 41
Win Pct: CIN 76.4%
Are the Buffaloes proving their win over the Lightning wasn’t a fluke? How the heck has this team won two games in a row, against good teams? One thing is for sure, the Knights won’t be taking the Buffaloes lightly after what they have done the past two weeks, which may be a good thing to keep themselves focused, especially for a game Cincinnati should win handly.

Sunday May 1, 2022 - 1:00PM
(6-3) New York CityHawks at (4-5) Pennsylvania Keystones
Line: NY -0.5
O/U: 48.5
Win Pct: NY 51.0%
What the heck happened to the Keystones? Maybe the Maroons just happen to be Pennsylvania’s kryptonite. With other teams in the North division nipping at the Keystones toes, they will need to get back on the winning track in week 11. New York barely escaped with a win against the Bears last week, and this was after coming off a bye week. The CityHawks haven’t won a game by more than one score since week 1, but they have been winning games. With a 5 game win streak going, New York is one of the hotter teams in the league, and with the schedule they have the rest of the way out, the CityHawks should expect to be a playoff team, and this is the kind of game they should win if they want to be a considered a threat in the playoffs.

Sunday May 1, 2022 - 4:30PM
(8-1) Los Angeles Express at (5-4) Oakland Icons
Line: LA -2
O/U: 45
Win Pct: LA 55.1%
The Express are coming off a well deserved bye week, and that can’t mean good news for the Icons. LA has been a hard team to stop this season, and are looking like one of the favorites to win the Western Conference. They face an Icons team that, honestly, likely won’t be able to keep up with LA’s offense. Oakland is going to have to turn this into a defense game if they want to have a shot in this one.

Sunday May 1, 2022 - 4:30PM
(4-6) Portland Samurais at (4-5) Salt Lake Trappers
Line: SL -5
O/U: 48
Win Pct: SL 61.6%
Portland continues their comeback tour as they make the trip to Salt Lake City to take on a Trappers team in freefall. Portland has now won three straight games, including a good win in Arizona, and a dominating win against the division rival Sockeyes. The Trappers are coming off a bye, and boy, did they need it. Their last two games have been atrocious blowout losses, including one to the Outlaws, which have a dreadful offense. A win will be big for either of these middling teams.

Sunday May 1, 2022 - 4:30PM
(2-7) San Antonio Texans at (5-4) Dallas Regulators
Line: DAL -2.5
O/U: 40.5
Win Pct: DAL 56.4%
In the first battle of Texas in the 2022 season, we will see a crumbling Texans team face off against a top notch defense, led by the suffocating defensive front of the Regulators. Dallas fought hard to push overtime against one of the league's best teams, the Brewers, last week, but it wasn’t enough. It did say a lot about their offense though, which is the most points the Brewers have given up all season. This is a must win game for Dallas, as wins won’t come easier than this the rest of the way.

Sunday May 1, 2022 - 4:30PM
(6-3) San Diego Breakers at (5-5) Seattle Sockeyes
Line: SD -2.5
O/U: 49
Win Pct: SD 55.6%
Both San Diego and Seattle have slipped up the past couple of weeks, and are headed in the wrong direction. They are both looking to get back on track. For San Diego, they now find themselves behind the outlaws, and for Seattle, they have fallen behind Oakland in the division race. The Breakers have the better team on paper, but the raw tallant on Seattle can’t be overlooked. Hoping for a good game here.

Sunday May 1, 2022 - 4:30PM
(1-8 ) Vancouver Bears at (6-3) Las Vegas Outlaws
Line: LV -4
O/U: 40.5
Win Pct: LV 60.7%
After a couple of good wins, the Outlaws have put themselves in a good position half way through their season, and they have even got some momentum going on offense, to complement their defense. This home matchup against Vancouver is a game that they should win, but this team has been known to play down to competition, and make a matchup like this into a game, when it never should be. Vegas needs to take this team seriously to avoid a trap game.

Sunday May 1, 2022 - 8:15PM
(2-7) Atlanta Flying Fleet at (5-4) Carolina Reapers
Line: CAR -2.5
O/U: 44.5
Win Pct: CAR 56.9%
This should be a good reset game for the Reapers at home Sunday night. Atlanta is falling apart, and ripe for the taking. The Reapers have faced a tough schedule recently, being handed loses by the Bobcats, Lightning, and Royals, some of the best teams in the conference. With the Atlantic division race starting to tighten up, this is a big game for the Reapers to win.

Monday May 2, 2022 - 8:15PM
(4-5) Memphis Demons at (8-2) Louisville Lightning
Line: LSV -3
O/U: 52.5
Win Pct: LSV 57.7%
Week 11 concludes in Louisville, as the Demons travel to take on the Lightning. Both Memphis and Louisville stopped the bleeding of two game losing streaks with wins last week. The Lightning are still a top team in the east, but other teams can smell blood in the water when you lose to a team like Kansas City. After their 7-0 start, where the Lightning looked unstoppable, teams now see an opening, and a way to beat Louisville. Can Memphis exploit that, or have the Lightning come back together strong?

On Bye: (4-6) Albuquerque Atoms, (7-3) Arizona Eagles, (4-6) Jacksonville Captains, (2-8 ) Miami Sol

Somehow we keep getting better each week. Did we trade for a new team or something? Kind of sad we have the bye coming up with all this momentum we have, but at least we aren't a league punching bag as we were earlier in the season.
Next victim: Las Vegas.

Like every team, there is always a chance your team could improve, or get worse between weeks. I think we can see what happened to Kansas City recently.
Don't worry, the Outlaws will be ready to put you in your place in week 13.
