Just saw this photo (supposedly from November 1959)

In the database you have green and yellow stripes of the same width but in the photo the green stripes seem thicker than the yellow stripes.
I'm not saying you have to change it, but maybe it needs some research.

The 1 on the left is different, too.

Some of the photos above have an incorrect copyright date in the watermark. If you can see the "G" on the helmet, the photo has to be from 1961 or later, as the Packers did not add the G until the '61 season. (I'm sure the database indicates this.)

Here are a few pics from Super Bowl II after the 1967 season. Still looks like thinner yellow stripes between the thicker green.

OK guys.
If it starts in '59 with the 1st real season of green & yellow, how far does it go? 1959-19??

In the first photo I posted (1959) I was pointing out both sleeve and sock stripes (just to be sure you noticed that Smile )

I'll look for other photos tonight

I was focusing on the sleeve stripes and the serifs on the 1s - but I did notice the '59 socks.

Luckily, GB went to the single set of green socks the following year.

Thanks.
We just need to find out how far along this pattern went. I'm guessing that at some point in the 70s with the whole mesh/durene thing, the stripes became standardized and lost this discrepancy.

It looks to me like the change occurred in 1971:

11/22/70
1959 Packers 2156525

12/6/70
1959 Packers 5780896

12/19/71

1959 Packers Empty When did the change occur?

It looks to me like the change occurred in 1971:

That makes sense. It was in 1971 that the Packers started using Sand Knit's mesh jersey in addition to the durene jersey. You can see, in photos or footage from '71 onward, that in some instances the numerals are stenciled onto the jerseys rather than stitched.
