GSL 2021 Week 7

Week 7 starts tonight with the Louisville Lightning headed to Pennsylvania to take on the Keystones.
There is also a third exhibition game tonight, with the GSL Development team taking on the Salt Lake Trappers.
Both games are slated for 8:15PM tonight, and both games are slated to have live updates.

In the GSL game of the week, the Outlaws take on the Atoms in a West division rivalry game. Both teams are looking to make something positive of their tough starts. The Atoms are set to get back on track at home, being 8 point favorites in this one.

In one of the premier matchups of the week, the 4-2 Texans head to Oakland to square off against the 5-1 Icons. This game will feature the leagues #2 offense in the Texans, against the leagues #2 defense in the Icons. The Icons have the slight edge in this matchup, which figures to be one of the best of the week.

The Brewers got their first win of the season on Monday night, and they are looking to keep on the winning path. The Breakers, at 2-4 can keep themselves a game back in the wild card race with a win.

In a GSL Saturday Night Football special, the Diesel head to LA to take on the Express. Both teams have had up and down seasons. Saturday night's game could give further indication as to where these two teams are headed for the remainder of the year.

BAL @ MIA 4/4 1:00PM
In the first of three Easter Sunday matchups, the Baltimore Bluebirds head down to Miami to take on the Sol. Baltimore is coming off yet another loss, but they still remain only a game an a half back in the tight Eastern division. The Sol are coming off a bye, and are also looking for a win to keep themselves close in the division. This matchup will have a lot riding on it in the division, and is shaping up to be a good defensive game.

The second Easter Sunday game features two 3-3 teams, whos seasons have been up and down. The Comets, however, have been trending in the right direction lately, and want to keep that going in Seattle.

The Sunday night game this week features the Stars at the Commanders, in an Eastern division showdown. The winner of Sunday night's game will move into first place in the division, picking up a big divisional win.

Week 7 concludes with the Jacksonville Captains heading to Wisconsin to take on the Stags. Both teams have been trending in opposite directions lately, and that trend looks like it might continue on Monday night.

Currently the game center page works fine, however the link for LSV-PEN takes me to the exhibition game.

Looks like both games are live, but it looks like only one game's data is showing up (GSL@SL).

The simulation went correctly in the database, and I'll send Rob the final scores.

For now, the LSV @ PEN game is showing wrong in the game center, so I'm going to figure out what happened.
I guess this is why we have these tests.

I think I fixed the problem.
Was looping where I should not have been, so the last game was always going to show up, for any game played at the same time.

Looks like I have a minor problem, that shouldn't be a hard fix.
All goal to go situations, don't have 'Goal' as the distance. Just saw 3rd and 1 from the 1 yard line. I tried fixing this multiple times, yet it doesn't want to fix, and I don't know why.

Baltimore 21 Miami 17. And all I keep hearing in the back of my head is "Oh No, we suck again!" Lol Definitely not a good team right now. St least we are not the 76 to 78 Tampa Bay Bucks.

Can't believe they lost that one up 17 in the 4th...

I think we need a need a new defensive coordinator. Or maybe a new defense. Lol And on a short week going into Thursday Night Football. I foresee doom and gloom. Or a lot of gassers coming Friday.

Not sure if you were keeping track of the play by play in this game, but Miami had good defense through 3 quarters.

But yeah, brutal way to lose. For those who didn't keep track, it was 17-0 to start the 4th, and Baltimore scored two touchdowns in the final 6 minutes to go up 21-17. Miami actually got to 3rd and 2 on the Baltimore 14 with 40 seconds to go, but eventually got sack fumbled on 4th down to end the game.

My next task is to link to the box scores (and score summary and play by play) of all games that have full play by play data from the weekly pages.
