Boston Redskins - NY Giants 1933

I came across a few photos of a game from Fenway Park, allegedly from 1933 (according to the Boston Public Library.)

What I find most important in the photo is the helmet - jersey combination being worn by the Giants. What we see here is the "Canadiens" style jersey being worn by the Giants (database shows 1932-33) with the blue-crowned red helmet (database shows 1930-31.)







This is a cool photo gallery that is loaded with old pictures of the Redskins also playing the Portsmouth Spartans and Detroit Lions, Harvard playing Yale and Army, and other unidentified football action photos from the 1920's through 40's.
